Had my first ultrasound because of my irregular cycles. Got to see the little peanut and hear the heart beat. Definitely made everything seem more real. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Official due date is Nov 4. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Morning sickness has taken a turn for the worst. Before it was 24/7 nausea. Then Monday it became extreme nausea and vomiting. Yuck. Even in spite of my previous nausea medication. Boo. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Today started to feel like more of the same, but I&amp;#8217;m trying out some new nausea medication. Hopefully I keep doing well.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My job is starting to take some serious hits now. Not even focusing on the just being tired and exhausted and not having everything that I used to give to work - nausea, vomiting, and having to pee all the time are definitely making it hard to do my job.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#8217;m do in home sales for a heating and air conditioning company. I&amp;#8217;m in a home for about 2 to 3 hrs or even longer. I&amp;#8217;m not supposed to use a customer&amp;#8217;s bathroom while I&amp;#8217;m there, for a wide variety of reasons. My umph is already gone - and then add in vomiting!?! Are you kidding me? How am I supposed to do this?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Well, before yesterday - I wouldn&amp;#8217;t drink hardly anything before appointments or in between appointments. And then would come home and drink as much as I could stand - because staying hydrated is hugely important to health, especially while pregnant. So I&amp;#8217;d be sluggish all day, then I would be up all night having to pee, so then I could be exhausted and sluggish the next day. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My boss is totally freaking out about me being pregnant. And totally asking way more of me than I can give and am willing to give. I have to take care of myself - especially now. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;At some point push is going to come to shove, and I&amp;#8217;m going to need to be looking for a new job. Not a huge deal - once I took the sales job, I went from hourly to commission based, and my income was severely cut. We don&amp;#8217;t have the techs and availability to accommodate enough installations that I can make a good income. So looking back, it was a mistake to take the position. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I did have one good week. The one good week the other areas of our business was slow, so I had the techs open. I killed myself that week. I put in 60 hrs and for that - I made $10.50 an hour that week. I was making $13 as an admin assistant and I loved it. Most weeks I make about minimum wage. Hugely demotivating. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So now that I&amp;#8217;m pregnant, why bother? I guess I&amp;#8217;m just waiting for the final straw to break. &lt;/p&gt;

My first dr. appointment is Tuesday and I can&amp;#8217;t wait. They wanted me to come in at 8 weeks - they calculated it by LMP. I have a long cycle. I tried to tell the receptionist that, but she didn&amp;#8217;t seem phased. So I&amp;#8217;m sure I won&amp;#8217;t be 8 weeks when I go in, maybe 7. So I hope it doesn&amp;#8217;t make any of the tests or check ups more difficult. I didn&amp;#8217;t fight with the receptionist too much, I just want to go in and get whatever I possibly can confirmed.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#8217;m technically obese, I have PCOS, and we were trying for 20 months before we conceived, but 12 of those months, my cycle was super out of wack. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So I don&amp;#8217;t think I&amp;#8217;m high risk, but I know being overweight and pregnant can be a concern, so I would just feel more relaxed about all of it when I can talk to a medical professional with tons of experience. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I think my husband its excited, but I also think he doesn&amp;#8217;t really know what to do or think or expect or what his role is supposed to be in this whole thing. So I&amp;#8217;m hoping he will come to the dr. with me and be able to talk with them and ask them questions and learn more about all of this. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#8217;m also thinking about going out and buying a hard copy of What To Expect for him.
